Our most popular of home consumer productions. From a single-camera, ceremony only shoot to a multi-camera production, Act One Pictures is your source. Best of all, we match what your needs are to the appropriate crew, so you get the best price and quality for your budget. With technology changing so quickly, many clients are starting to lean towards just having video shot rather than using a still photographer as we can do the same thing…but at 30 frames a second and with recorded audio. With high definition video cameras, snapshots can be taken off the video to make photographic prints. You also get the benefit of highly trained news crews, as they like the “on-the-side” work.
Anniversaries, Bar Mitzvah's, Births, Church Functions, Reunions and Parties. We can send out a single or multi-camera crew to record all of those special moments instead of having one of your guests be responsible for the recording. We can then edit the raw footage to give you and your guests a fantastic memory of the event. We can create a tribute slideshow before hand of the guest of honor as well as aid in supplying audio/video equipment for the event. We can also add footage and pictures taken by guests into your show for the final cut.
Act One is famous for quick turnaround productions. Do you need a quick tape or DVD showing off your talents for a TV show audition? How about including a video with your resume? We also create demo reels for TV reporters, anchors and meteorologists. We can use your own pre-recorded footage or we can tape a mock newscast in our studio.
Sports highlight reels are a specialty of ours. We can edit your own footage or tape the games for you with one of our experienced Videographers. We can cover one game or the whole season at a reasonable rate. We work with professional athletes as well as up and coming talent. We also film and edit in slow motion to view your golf or baseball swing in frame by frame action. One of the popular features in our football highlight videos is to “highlight” the player for a second or so before the action starts so the viewer knows which player to watch.
We can also slow motion certain plays for you. We can add your statistics and contact information for the intro and close and then print any information you want right on the final DVD’s.
Act One Pictures can produce a high budget MTV style music video with an award winning director or a low budget demo for local artists or coverage of your band during a concert. With our various levels of production crews and editors, we can work within your budget and get you our best talent to work with your talent.
This is a very special service we offer. Videotaping the services is ideal for family members and friends who could not attend, for military services, and for VIP’s. It’s also serves as an archive of the service, capturing what was said and any of the ceremonial events. It serves as a reminder of those who have passed on and for the children who could not understand what happened at the time. Act One Pictures takes pride in our funeral services coverage. We are extremely discrete, and it is our rule not bother any guests or shoot any faces during the these very emotional times. We can also create a photo montage from pictures, slides, videos and even old movie film, to show at the service and for keeping the memories of the departed.
Act One Pictures can fulfill any other type of production need. Besides all of the most common productions listed above, we can shoot b-roll of your home improvements, make your audition reel for a reality show, produce a sports highlight reel, or tape you during a performance. We can then put the edited footage on DVD or compress the video to load on the web. Anything is possible at Act One.
